I first created BellaRadio.com back in March 2004. At the time, and for many years since then, it was part of the BellaOnline.com network. We set up BellaRadio to be a music hosting site, showcasing a variety of female musicians from around the world.
Times change, and the way people listen to music online changes. Nowadays most people don’t connect to individual websites to stream music. Listeners instead go to YouTube, Amazon, or other large sites to select the music they want. So we’ve taken down the streaming services here.
I’m looking to set up a fresh set of soundtracks – maybe as half-hour-long blocks – on YouTube. In the meantime, though, BellaRadio is here and it has a new mission. It’ll help us interview artists, talk about music over the years, and at some point host all the links to the new YouTube videos.
